CONCORD, N.C. – Have you noticed anything different about Chase Elliott lately?
Ever since he knew that he would be piloting a paint scheme based off his dad’s car from 1976, the driver has been growing out his hair in preparation for the upcoming Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
The change in hairstyle comes as Elliott looks to not only have his car resemble his father’s ride – but his own appearance will be an homage as well.
“He had his hair out,” Elliott said. “So I’m going to do my best to copy the hair before it gets to Darlington.”
