LOUDON, N.H. – Another 75 laps are in the books at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Jimmie Johnson led the way for his Hendrick Motorsports teammates in eighth at the conclusion of Stage 2, which ended under caution due to a multiple-car incident.
Johnson started the segment the same way he finished Stage 1, in eighth. He held on to his position in the top 10 and finished the second stage right where he began.
Teammate Chase Elliott restarted Stage 2 in 14th and maintained track
position to take the green-checkered flag one position above where he started in 13th.
Kasey Kahne finished Stage 2 in 15th.
With one lap to go in the segment, Earnhardt was involved in a multiple-car incident. He was scored 21st.
Kyle Busch won the stage.
With the first two stages complete, a final 150-lap segment remains before the checkered flag waves at New Hampshire.
