DOVER, Del. -- After 120 laps at Dover International Speedway, one Hendrick Motorsports driver is in the top 10, with two more teammates knocking on the door.
Chase Elliott led the organization to the green-checkered flag, finishing Stage 1 in seventh.
The result earned him four extra points.
Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. narrowly missed the points-earning top 10, finishing Sunday's first stage in 11th and 12th, respectively.
Kasey Kahne was not far behind in 16th.
Brad Keselowski won Stage 1.
Stage 2 consists of another 120 laps before a final, 160-lap segment.
