CONCORD, N.C. – This weekend, the NASCAR Hall of Fame class of 2018 – featuring Ray Evernham – will be inducted.
Hendrick Motorsports teammates will take part in some of the festivities surrounding the big day – and fans can get involved.
The activities begin with Friday night’s induction ceremony, followed by NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day this Saturday, Jan. 20, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
Among those scheduled to appear during the induction ceremony are Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon. Tickets and more information are available at nascarhall.com.
Fan Appreciation Day brings free admission to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and many drivers – both past and present – will participate in autograph and question-and-answer sessions throughout the day.
Admission to the sessions are free on a first-come, first-served basis, though tickets must be secured in advance on nascarhall.com. Doors will open at 8 a.m.
William Byron is scheduled for an 11 a.m. Q&A followed by an 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. autograph session.
Chase Elliott’s Q&A will begin at 12 p.m. followed by an autograph session from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Alex Bowman will also participate in Fan Appreciation Day, holding a Q&A at 2:30 p.m. and signing autographs from 3 to 4 p.m.
The Q&A sessions will take place in the High Octane Theater. Autograph sessions will occur outside the Crown Ballroom in the Charlotte Convention Center, connected to the Hall of Fame.
