CONCORD, N.C. -- At long last, there will be cars on the track this weekend in the NASCAR Cup Series.
While the Daytona 500 is still more than a week away, qualifying for "The Great American Race" will take place this Sunday. And after that, the first racing of the year is on deck -- The Clash.
Chase Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jimmie Johnson are eligible to compete in the exhibition race, and Elliott will debut a brand-new paint scheme on his brand-new No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
He revealed the fresh Mountain Dew look for The Clash on Twitter Wednesday.
The Clash is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET this Sunday at Daytona International Speedway. It will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1.
