CONCORD, N.C. – This March, the Jimmie Johnson Foundation and Blue Bunny Ice Cream announced the return of the Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope campaign in 2018.
The program, which started in 2008, gives fans the chance to nominate their favorite education-based charities to receive a $25,000 grant, a Blue Bunny ice cream party and special recognition to Johnson’s race helmet.
With the nominees in hand, the pool has now been whittled down to 10 semifinalists – with this week’s final vote determining the five charitable organizations that will make the final cut. Voting is now open, and fans can make their voices heard through Tuesday, May 15.
