LONG POND, Pa. — Chase Elliott led his Hendrick Motorsports teammates in Friday afternoon’s qualifying session at Pocono Raceway.
Elliott was the only teammate to advance to the final round, earning an 11th-place starting position for Sunday’s race.
Elliott’s three teammates advanced to Round 2 of the qualifying session. Alex Bowman will roll off the grid 14th, Jimmie Johnson 15th, and William Byron 16th.
Ryan Blaney won the pole.
