CONCORD, N.C. – Monday, the No. 48 Jimmie Johnson Foundation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that will race Saturday night at Kentucky Speedway was unveiled.
In addition to the paint scheme, Johnson will also sport the Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope, which the Jimmie Johnson Foundation showed off on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
On the helmet, five charities committed to improving K-12 public education are recognized. All five of the organizations were recipients of $25,000 grants and a Blue Bunny Ice Cream party through the program.
Since its inception in 2008, the Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope program has contributed more than $1.2 million to 111 charities across the United States.
