LOUDON, N.H. – A strong qualifying effort Friday afternoon at New Hampshire Motor Speedway saw three Hendrick Motorsports teammates advance to the final round of the session.
Ultimately, Alex Bowman will lead his teammates to the green flag on Sunday, earning an eighth-place starting position.
Chase Elliott joined his teammate inside the top 10 and will start Sunday’s race in 10th.
Byron was the third Hendrick Motorsports teammate to advance to the final round, earning an 11th-place starting position.
Jimmie Johnson will roll off the grid 21st after advancing to the second round of the session.
Kurt Busch won the pole.
Sunday afternoon’s race is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network, PRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
