CONCORD, N.C. – Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson and two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso left fans asking all kinds of questions after an interesting exchange Wednesday on Twitter.
In the video that both competitors posted on their respective social media accounts, the two racers discuss over the phone exploring each other's "side of the pond" after Johnson stating he's "always full of good ideas."
But what exactly are they referring to?
"To be determined," Johnson chuckled when asked about his tweet at Las Vegas media day.
Johnson looks forward to revealing more on the surprise going forward, and he's enjoying getting fans involved worldwide.
"In all fairness, it's not all fully flushed out," he said. "There's great interest on his side as there is on mine. We're going to have some fun.
"When you have McLaren, Hendrick Motorsports, (Fernando) Alonso and myself involved, it’s pretty powerful. It’s pretty cool.”
