LAS VEGAS – Friday afternoon at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman led Hendrick Motorsports in qualifying with a pair of top-10 finishes.
After advancing to the final round, Elliott will lead his teammates to the green flag Sunday afternoon in seventh.
Bowman joined his teammate in the final round and earned a ninth-place starting position.
Jimmie Johnson and William Byron both made Round 2 of the qualifying session and will take the green flag Sunday in 17th and 21st, respectively.
Erik Jones earned the pole.
