CONCORD, N.C. -- William Byron spent his Tuesday afternoon doing a little prep for 2019 with Liberty University.

The driver of the No. 24 Liberty University Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 showed off his firesuit and car for next season in a production day on the Liberty campus.

Liberty University, founded in 1971, offers more than 550 unique programs of study from the certificate to the doctoral level. Byron, a junior majoring in business communications, currently takes online classes at Liberty, which offers more than 250 programs online.

On campus Tuesday, Byron's 2019 paint scheme was on display. It will share the same look as this season with one major change -- no more rookie stripes.

With four races remaining in the 2018 season, Byron continues to hold the lead in the battle for the NASCAR Cup Series rookie of the year title. He leads the rookie standings by 109 points over Bubba Wallace.

This weekend at Martinsville Speedway marks the 15th and final outing for the blue and red No. 24 Liberty University Chevy this season.

But now we've seen that the speedy paint scheme will be back in action in 2019.
