CONCORD, N.C. – The 2018 NASCAR Cup Series Most Popular Driver also had the most popular die-cast.
Chase Elliott topped Lionel Racing’s annual list of best-selling die-casts for the 2018 calendar year, and all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers were well-represented throughout the top 10.
The organization held each of the top eight spots on the list, with Elliott’s No. 9 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 taking the top position.
Four other No. 9 paint schemes made the top 10, including Elliott’s first win die-cast from his Watkins Glen victory, which ranked second.
Cup Series Rookie of the Year William Byron’s No. 24 Axalta die-cast grabbed the third spot on the list.
Joining his teammates in the top five is Alex Bowman, whose No. 88 Nationwide die-cast ranked fifth for the year.
It marked both Byron and Bowman’s debut on the list among the top-10 sellers.
Seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48 Chevrolet was the seventh-best-selling die-cast of the year.
With all four drivers holding strong among the best-selling die-casts in 2018, all eyes now turn to the organization’s exciting 2019 schemes, which will hit the track next month at Daytona.
