CONCORD, N.C. – There was something about the on-track battles between Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt that captivated an entire nation and defined an era in the sport.

Now, one of the most storied rivalries in NASCAR Cup Series history is getting its very own documentary next month.

“Unrivaled: Earnhardt vs. Gordon” is set to debut Thursday, Feb. 14, on FOX Sports 1. The 60-minute documentary will air at 10 p.m. ET immediately following coverage of The Duels at Daytona.

"Working on this project brought back so many memorable moments," Gordon said. "Dale was such a fierce competitor, and he used his bumper plenty of times to teach me lessons on the track. Off the track – and I don't know exactly why – he took me under his wing to teach me so much about the business side of our sport."

The documentary – by FOX Sports Films, in collaboration with NASCAR Productions and DLP Media Group – was executive produced by Gordon. It features interviews with Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick, Ray Evernham, Richard Childress and many more.

It explores the iconic drivers’ relationship on and off the track and even dives into each’s unique fan base.
