CONCORD, N.C. - William Byron headed to Dover International Speedway a little early this week to spend Thursday afternoon with children from a local Dover, Delaware, YMCA after-school program.
The driver joined in on the NASCAR Foundation's Speediatrics Fun Day Festival, helping complete tasks set up to resemble real NASCAR duties alongside the approximately 150 kids who came to participate in the festival.
The Speediatrics Children's Fund has promoted the healthy lives of more than 600,000 children in need though healthy living, medical services, and lifestyle experiences like the one with Byron on Thursday.
