DOVER, Del. – Due to inclement weather, Sunday’s race at Dover International Speedway has been postponed.
It is now scheduled for noon ET on Monday and will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1.
When the green flag flies, Chase Elliott and William Byron will lead the field to the starting line on the front row. The teammate tandem earned the pole and outside pole, respectively, during Friday’s qualifying session.
Jimmie Johnson will roll off the grid just outside the top 10 after qualifying 12th.
Alex Bowman, who had qualified fifth, will start at the rear of the field due to inspection issues.
“I am excited that we could get our NAPA Brakes Chevy on the front row and we will go to work,” Elliott said. “I think track position is going to be key, so, hopefully we can use it to our advantage.”
