CONCORD, N.C. – It’s Small Business Week, and Alex Bowman piloted a No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that helped mark the occasion.

In Monday’s race at Dover International Speedway – where he equaled his career-best NASCAR Cup Series finish of second for the second consecutive week – Bowman drove a special Nationwide paint scheme that featured the “Pitch to Win” contest.

The promotion, which kicked off on May 3 and runs through the end of June, allows small business owners to visit PitchToWinBig.com to enter for a chance to win funds to achieve their business goals.

Nationwide and BlueVine teamed up to give away $100,000 to one small business to help it grow. The two companies will select the contest finalists, who will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Nationwide’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, to pitch business leaders in-person during a live “Pitch to Win” event. The winning pitch will win the $100,000 prize, with second place receiving $20,000 and third place taking home $10,000.

After the submission period comes to a close, round two of the contest will kick off in August with semifinalists submitting a video pitch, then the finalists will be selected in September and finally pitch in front of the panel of judges in October.

Additionally, to celebrate Small Business Week this week, Nationwide will profile several Hendrick Motorsports team members who also own small businesses. Stay tuned to @Nationwide88 on Instagram to hear their stories.
