CONCORD, N.C. -- A new challenge is sweeping social media, and it's all for a good cause.
The #CrackCancer challenge is all about raising awareness and funds to fight pediatric brain cancer, inspired by the Willie Strong Foundation. All it requires is cracking a raw egg or two over your head.
Plenty of celebrities and athletes have gotten involved in the movement, from NFL coaches and players to PGA golfers, MLB players and even the WWE's Stephanie McMahon.
This week, Dale Earnhardt Jr. took on the challenge before passing it on to his former Hendrick Motorsports teammate, Jimmie Johnson.
It didn't take long for Johnson to respond, taking the #CrackCancer Challenge himself with help from his daughters. Afterward, he challenged another one of his teammates to join in -- Chase Elliott.
