Joliet, Ill. – Teammates are traveling to Illinois this weekend to race at Chicagoland Speedway. Located 30 miles outside the “Windy City”, the track is host to one NASCAR Cup Series event each year.
At Chicagoland, Hendrick Motorsports holds two wins, four pole positions, 22 top-five finishes and 34 top 10s. Situated just off the iconic Route 66, the most recent win at the track for the organization came in 2009 when Mark Martin won the race.
