CONCORD, N.C. – The fans have spoken, and Alex Bowman will have a unique No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 next month at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
After 30,000 votes were cast, a fan-designed paint scheme submitted by Kyle Sykes Designs was selected to hit the track for the Sept. 15 race.
Bowman was happy with the fans’ decision and tweeted that he’s looking forward to getting behind the wheel.
The winning paint scheme was selected from four options, and Nationwide was sure to thank the designers and the fans who voted.
The Las Vegas race kicks off the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, and Bowman will do so in style.
