CONCORD, N.C. – NASCAR Hall of Fame brothers Terry and Bobby Labonte will serve as the grand marshals for the parade prior to the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway week.

Terry Labonte piloted the No. 5 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports for more than a decade, earning 12 wins in the process. His tenure was highlighted by the 1996 season, when he won two races and earned four pole positions, a career-high 21 top-five finishes and 24 top-10s en route to his second NASCAR Cup Series championship.

It's fitting that the brothers will take on the grand marshal roles, as both won at Darlington in their careers. The last of Terry’s wins at the track “Too Tough to Tame” came with Hendrick Motorsports in 2003.

The parade is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time on Saturday, Aug. 31, and will be routed throughout the city of Darlington, South Carolina. Click here for more information.

The Southern 500 is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 1, on NBCSN.
