CONCORD, N.C. – October brings the arrival of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Hooters and Chase Elliott are marking the occasion with a brand-new paint scheme.

Elliott’s No. 9 Hooters Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for the Oct. 6 race at Dover International Speedway will be pink to raise awareness for breast cancer research.

In addition, fans can join the fight against breast cancer and #GiveAHoot by purchasing specialty pink No. 9 team merchandise at ChaseElliott.com and Hooters.com. The funds raised in October go to the V Foundation for Cancer Research and other local beneficiaries through the Kelly Jo Dowd Breast Cancer Research Fund.

“Hooters has put a lot of effort into changing the paint scheme for the Dover race in October and doing everything they can to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” Elliott said. “They are definitely doing their part with the Give a Hoot program, which is nice to see.”

Through the Give A Hoot program, Hooters has raised more than $5.8 million to support breast cancer research, including $615,000 in 2018.
