TALLADEGA, Ala. – Due to inclement weather in the area, the remainder of the Talladega Superspeedway race has been postponed.
The race will resume at 2 p.m. ET on Monday.
The first 57 laps of the race are in the books, as is the complete first stage, which was won by William Byron. He was followed to the green-checkered flag at the end of Stage 1 by Alex Bowman in third, Jimmie Johnson in seventh and Chase Elliott in 18th.
Rain arrived shortly after the conclusion of Stage 1, bringing out a red flag and ultimately postponing the rest of the race to Monday.
The event will be broadcast on NBCSN tomorrow.
