CONCORD, N.C. – He did it again! Chase Elliott is once again the NASCAR Cup Series’ Most Popular Driver. But the driver of the No. 9 Chevy wanted to make it clear the credit belongs to the fans.
When the award was announced, Elliott took to the stage to thank his fans for their constant support. With countless votes online and shared through social media, the driver was honored to receive the award.
But even after leaving the stage, he wanted to be sure to thank his fans with a personal video to further express his gratitude to be taking home the 18th Most Popular Driver Award home to Dawsonville, Georgia, adding to his NASCAR Hall of Fame father Bill Elliott’s record 16.
