CONCORD, N.C. -- Sam Morris finished 10th at virtual Atlanta Motor Speedway to end the second segment of the 2020 eNASCAR Heat Pro League Series.

Working the Xbox One for Hendrick Motorsports Gaming Club, Morris at one point was in the lead and was riding in the top five before an incident in the last laps forced him back.

Teammate Nick Jobes finished in 14th place on the PlayStation 4.

Jobes was first up for the Atlanta races. He started in 13th and within two laps was in ninth. One lap later, he slid up to seventh. By the ninth lap, Jobes was in sixth place. However, he tumbled to 10th by the 14th lap.

Fifteen laps in, Jobes was back in 13th place. Three laps later, he was in 12th. Jobes pitted on lap 28 and came off pit road in the same position. With 31 laps to go, he moved up a spot to 12th.

By lap 30, Jobes ended up in last place and down four laps after he tapped the wall. He was unable to recover and finished in that position.

Morris was up next and started in seventh. Before the first turn, he had moved up to sixth. By the end of the first lap, he was in fifth.

One lap later, Morris was in third place. Soon he was tailing the leader in second place.

Just eight laps into the event, Morris was running in first place. However, the tenth lap saw him drop to fifth.

After a pit stop, Morris was in second again. However, by lap 28 he was down to ninth place. He made up some ground to fifth place two laps later.

A caution came out with 23 laps left. When the field went green, Morris was in sixth. With 11 laps to go, Morris was in second as another caution came out.

He was still in second when the green flag waived but fell to fifth place by the 49th lap. He was up to fourth with five to go in the race.

Morris hit the wall on a turn with four laps to go and tumbled the 13th. In the closing laps he moved up three spots to finish in 10th.
