CONCORD, N.C. -- And baby makes four! No. 24 crew chief Chad Knaus and wife Brooke welcomed their second child Wednesday - a little girl named Vivienne Mae Knaus.
Born July 29, Vivienne Mae joined big brother Kipling, who was born in August 2018.
Her moniker has special ties to both sides of the family - Vivienne stems from one of Brooke Knaus' grandmothers, who was named Vivian. Mae pays homage to one of Chad Knaus' grandmothers.
Knaus missed the July 23 race at Kansas Speedway as the family awaited the little girl's arrival. Crew chief Keith Rodden filled in for Knaus and led William Byron to a 10th-place finish at the track.
Knaus will be on hand this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to try and secure his fourth win at the track and first with Byron.
The race will be Sunday, Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
