CONCORD, N.C. -- Jimmie Johnson will take the track at Darlington Raceway one final time as a full-time driver this Sunday in a special No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE.
Johnson will pay homage to NASCAR legends Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty with a unique combination paint scheme centered around Earnhardt's classic No. 3 ride and Petty's iconic No. 43.
The three men all are seven-time Cup Series champions and are the only drivers in series history to have seven titles. Because of this, Johnson also will sport a "7x7x7" sticker on his Chevrolet.
