CONCORD, N.C. -- The conditions continued to be wet and dreary at Texas Motor Speedway Monday, forcing the race to be postponed for a second day in a row.
The Texas race will resume Tuesday, nearly two days after it was scheduled to start.
After rain forced the race to be moved from Sunday to Monday, track dryers tried to get rid of the moisture on the asphalt throughout the morning and afternoon. However, fog, rain and chilly temperatures thwarted the effort.
The race is scheduled to pick up where it left off on lap 52 on Tuesday at noon ET on NBCSN.
