CONCORD, N.C. – Hendrick Motorsports heads to the Last Great Colosseum and is ready to take on dirt-covered Bristol Motor Speedway for the first time in the Cup Series.
The drivers are rolling into Sunday’s event with a lot of momentum. Kyle Larson was a force to be reckoned with at Atlanta, where he led 269 laps and took home a runner-up finish. William Byron also adds to the momentum after he won at the virtual Bristol dirt track Wednesday night for the first race of the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, leading 38 of the 70-lap feature race.
Alex Bowman’s dirt-racing background has expanded after he participated as a team owner in the 2021 Chili Bowl Nationals. Chase Elliott won the All-Star race held at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2020 and practiced his dirt skills through various events during the offseason.
