CONCORD, N.C. -- Hendrick Motorsports will try to repeat as this year's NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race winner when the four teams hit the track at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.
Sunday's exhibition race will take place for the first time in the Lone Star State with a new format. It marks only the third time in history that the All-Star Race has been located away from Charlotte Motor Speedway. Last year, the eveht was at Bristol Motor Speedway, where Chase Elliott earned his first all-star accolade and won the $1 million prize.
