CONCORD, N.C. – William Byron and Kyle Larson will guide the Hendrick Motorsports drivers from the front row after running the fastest qualifying laps of the four teammates at Road America. Byron will take the green from the Busch pole position and Larson will start in second.
Teammates Larson, Byron, and Alex Bowman made it to the final round of qualifying where the three teammates have ten minutes to run the fastest lap to secure the pole position. Alex Bowman ran fast and secured a top-10 qualifying position. Chase Elliott was caught in both cautions during the qualifying session and was not able to compete a full lap, relegating him to the rear for the star of the race in 34th.
