CONCORD, N.C. – Kyle Larson will lead the field to green with teammate William Byron starting next to him in second on the front row as the four teams head to Daytona International Speedway this Saturday to make their final laps in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series regular season.
Chase Elliott will start the race from fifth and Alex Bowman will round out the Hendrick Motorsports field, starting his race at the 2.5-mile superspeedway in 15th.
The starting lineup was set based on the metrics formula from last season. It applies the data from the driver's finishing position of the last race (25%), the car owner's finishing position from the last race (25%), team owner points ranking (35%) and the fastest lap from the previous race.
