CONCORD, N.C. -- The NASCAR Cup Series will take on Daytona International Speedway for the last time this year as the field gets ready for the playoffs.
During the final race of the regular season last year, William Byron punched his ticket into the postseason in a must-win situation at Daytona after he took the checkered flag for his first Cup Series win. The driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE is hoping to repeat his performance from last year to add on to his win from Homestead-Miami Speedway earlier this year.
Kyle Larson will do what he can to ensure he is tabbed as the regular-season champion as he heads to Daytona 28 markers ahead of second-place Denny Hamlin in the rankings. Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman also will try to pad their overall wins this season with a victory at Daytona, as well.

WHAT TIME ARE PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING?
Since NASCAR is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of the teams and personnel at the track, there will be no practice and no qualifying.
The starting order for Sunday's race was announced Wednesday morning based on metric system put in place last August.

The race will be on Saturday, August 28 at 7 p.m. ET and be broadcast on NBC.
