CONCORD, N.C. -- The helmet visors each Hendrick Motorsports driver sported at Richmond Raceway on Sept. 11 now are up for auction through the NASCAR Foundation.

Each visor has been signed by its respective driver and all four will be auctioned off as a package deal to benefit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s Never Forget Fund.

During the playoff event at Richmond Raceway, the field honored the lives lost during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks through various tributes. The money raised from the auction will go directly to the museum and the Never Forget Fund, which is located at the World Trade Center in New York City. The organization’s mission is to remember those impacted by the attacks while educating future generations about the attacks with personal stories of loss, hope and recovery from the people directly affected by the tragedy.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s Never Forget Fund uses those donations to actively work with 9/11 family members, survivors, and rescue and recovery workers to offer services, education and moments of connection and healing.

Click here to visit the NASCAR Foundation’s eBay page and bid on the four Hendrick Motorsports teammates’ visors. The auction will be live from Thursday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m. ET to Thursday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. ET.
