CONCORD, N.C. -- With the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series in the rear-view mirror, it is time to the fans to decide who will be the National Motorsports Press Association Most Popular Driver.
Fans can cast their votes for their favorite drivers once per day by clicking here. Voting starts Nov. 9 and will go through Dec. 1 at noon ET.
All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers are eligible to claim the award, including three-time Most Popular Driver Award winner Chase Elliott.
The winner will be announced at a later date after voting concludes.
NASCAR Hall of Famer Bill Elliott, Chase's father, has won the award a record 16 times (1984-1988, 1991-2000 and 2002). Former Hendrick Motorsports teammate and NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. was named Most Popular Driver 15 times from 2003 through 2017.
For the last three seasons, Elliott has claimed the honor, making him and his father the only two drivers in Cup Series history to win both a championship and Most Popular Driver in the same season. Bill Elliott earned both honors in 1988 and while Chase Elliott accomplished the feat last season.
