CONCORD, N.C. – William Byron joined the latest episode of "Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin."

The driver of the No. 24 RaptorTough.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports and three-time winner in 2023 talked about a host of topics with Hamlin. The subjects covered included last weekend’s race at Nashville Superspeedway, preparing for the upcoming street race in downtown Chicago, why Byron is running Super Late Model races, how Byron got into racing and what has led to his success in recent years.

The discussion also covered Byron's fast pit crew, which leads the NASCAR Cup Series with the fastest average four-tire stop time at 10.872 seconds. This season, his crew is responsible for three of the top nine times for four-tire stops.

"They've been awesome," Byron said. "They've been on it since the middle of last year. We just have a really good group. They've got a good swagger about them."

Byron appeared as the guest because he was the winner of the "Denny Hamlin Bracket Challenge." That concept was a five-race bracket-style competition that Hamlin showcased on his podcast as an idea he’d like to see NASCAR try out in future years.
