The New York track has been a strong one for the Rick Hendrick-owned team, with the organization earning 10 victories there. Jeff Gordon's four wins lead the way, but Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson have two wins each at the 2.45-mile track. Tim Richmond and Ricky Rudd also earned triumphs for the team at The Glen. In fact, Elliott (2018-19) and Larson's (2021-22) victories are part of four straight wins for Hendrick Motorsports at Watkins Glen. There was no race at this track in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Larson will sport the classic HendrickCars.com look at the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Since joining Hendrick Motorsports for the 2021 season, the 31-year-old driver has four road course wins.

Elliott's No. 9 Chevy will carry the colors of primary partner NAPA Auto Parts. The 27-year-old driver's seven wins on serpentine layouts are the most among active drivers and the third-most all time.
This weekend, William Byron will have Valvoline on the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for the third time this season. He won with this paint scheme at Phoenix Raceway in March.
Alex Bowman will have the primary "day" scheme on the No. 48 Ally Chevy. In his career, the 30-year-old driver has two runner-up finishes on road courses (Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL in 2019 and Circuit of The Americas in 2022).
Tune in to watch the action from Watkins Glen on Sunday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network, NBC Sports App, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90). Check out the paint schemes that will be on track in New York.
