CONCORD, N.C. – Kyle Larson is entering the 2024 Chili Bowl Nationals with a last-minute entry that will see him take part in Thursday’s preliminary night in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Larson is a two-time Chili Bowl champion, capturing titles in 2020 and 2021. He did not participate in the 2023 edition of the world’s biggest midget car racing event.
HendrickCars.com is one of the sponsors of his entry, the No. 98K. HendrickCars.com serves as a 35-race majority partner for Larson’s NASCAR Cup Series efforts and supports all non-NASCAR events in which he competes. The company will serve as the sponsor of his efforts to make the 2024 Indianapolis 500.

Should Larson reach the A-Main for the 11th time in his career at the Chili Bowl, he will pull double duty on Saturday, according to FloRacing.com. First, he will run a Dirt Late Model at Vado Speedway Park in New Mexico and then fly to Tulsa for the championship event of the Chili Bowl. This plan was later confirmed by Larson on social media.
How can Larson lock in for the main event? On each qualifying night, there is a combination of heat races, qualifying races and A-B-C Mains. He will need to finish in the top two in the Preliminary A Main to advance to Saturday’s featured event. For a full rundown of how this works, click here.
