CONCORD, N.C. - Atlanta Motor Speedway will host the second race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Hendrick Motorsports' 17 wins at Atlanta are not only a track-best mark but also ranks as the fifth-winningest track in team history.

Since the track was reprofiled and reconfigured to be a drafting track ahead of the 2022 season, Hendrick Motorsports has won three of the last four races. William Byron has two of those wins, while Dawsonville, Georgia, native Chase Elliott has one.
Kyle Larson will drive the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. He has started inside the top 10 in his last three starts at the 1.54-mile track. Larson is looking for his first win at Atlanta and on a drafting track.

The No. 9 Hooters Chevy will make its 2024 debut with Chase Elliott. Since the start of 2022, he has the best average finish (6.7), led the third-most laps (125) and earned the fourth-most points (124) at Atlanta. The home state hero also won there in July of 2022.

William Byron will sport the No. 24 Raptor High Heat Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which is a brand new paint scheme for this season. Byron is fresh off of his win in the 2024 DAYTONA 500. Over the last two years at Atlanta, Byron leads all drivers in wins (two), laps led (171) and is tied for the second-most points (125).

Alex Bowman carries the "digital camo" look on the No. 48 Ally Chevy. This is the team's new primary paint scheme for the 2024 season. Bowman notched a runner-up finish in Monday's DAYTONA 500. Since Atlanta became a drafting track, he has one top-10 finish in four starts there.
