“Spanning 40 years and more than 300 victories, the contributions of countless people have built Hendrick Motorsports into the greatest team in NASCAR history,” says Gordon in the foreword. “This book is made up of their stories.”
As his career in the retail automotive business was just beginning, Hendrick took a risk by launching Hendrick Motorsports in 1984. Over the ensuing four decades, it has become one of the most successful and high-profile operations in racing history. Competing in the elite NASCAR Cup Series, the team now holds the all-time records in every major statistical category, including championships and points-paying race wins.

The 200-page book includes stunning images by top NASCAR photographer Nigel Kinrade and from the Hendrick Motorsports archive. It is the only officially licensed 40th anniversary book of the 14-time NASCAR Cup Series champions.
