CONCORD, N.C. - All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers find themselves in good position heading into Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night, the final race in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs Round of 16.
Yet, when it comes to the Last Great Coliseum, things can change fast.
At the very least, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, William Byron and Alex Bowman will pilot clean looking race cars in an attempt to qualify for the next round.
More good news: each of the four have at least a 25-point buffer to the cutline. And Hendrick Motorsports has had its fair share of success at the 0.533-mile short track, leading all Cup Series organizations in top-five finishes (69) and top 10s (121) with 12 victories along the way. That includes one by Larson in this race in 2021.
Saturday night's race will air on USA Network with coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Nobody has been better than Larson at Bristol since the start of 2021. Larson has an average finish of 3.3 in that time with a win and four top-five finishes in as many races.

Elliott, meanwhile, leads all Cup Series competitors in career average finish at Bristol at 11.6. He's piled up three top-10 showings over his last four events at the Tennessee short track.

Byron also has a trio of top 10s over his last four Bristol starts, including back-to-back, third-place finishes in 2021 and 2022.
