CONCORD, N.C. – Chevrolet’s 100-year legacy of care continues as it teams up with the American Cancer Society and NASCAR for the 14th consecutive year in the fight against breast cancer.
Through its “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” initiative, Chevrolet is dedicated to driving change both on and off the track.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, a special pink Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will lead the field as the official pace car for two key NASCAR Cup Series playoff races. The iconic pink Camaro, featuring the American Cancer Society (ACS) logo, will pace the field at Talladega Superspeedway (Oct. 5) and Homestead-Miami Speedway (Oct. 27).

For every lap completed under caution behind the pink Camaro, Chevrolet will donate $350 to the American Cancer Society in support of the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” program. Last season, 115 caution laps were completed across three races, resulting in a total donation of $40,250. In 2023, Chevrolet’s efforts raised over $1.7 million through this powerful initiative.
NASCAR continues to stand with Chevrolet in its commitment to raising awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer. Fans can catch the debut of the 2024 pink pace car this weekend at Talladega (Superspeedway), where it will lead the field in Sunday’s race.
