CONCORD, N.C. - It's said that one secret to success is to dress for the job you want.

This week, Hendrick Motorsports will put that theory to the test not just with uniforms but with race cars.

Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott and William Byron enter Sunday's race at Martinsville Speedway, the last event of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs Round of 8, seeking to earn one of two remaining spots to join the Championship 4.

Byron, back in his Liberty University colors this week, is in the best spot in terms of points, seven markers above the elimination line in fourth. Larson is just behind in fifth, needing to make up those same seven points to get his head above water. Elliott may be in a bit of a simpler situation, 43 tallies below the cut - win to get in.

All three, as well as Alex Bowman, who is continuing to work on a career year with yet another top-10 showing at Homestead-Miami Speedway last week, will certainly look the part this weekend.

Here's a quick peak at the paint Hendrick Motorsports rides will adorn in a crucial elimination race on Sunday:

Larson has certainly turned over a new leaf at the 0.526-mile paperclip since joining Hendrick Motorsports. He had just two top 10s in his first 12 starts at the venue but has five in seven starts with the 14-time-Cup-champion organization including a win in the spring of 2023.

Elliott's last win at Martinsville certainly signaled good things to come as he picked up back-to-back victories to close 2020 with a Cup Series championship. He's led 1,104 laps in 18 starts at the Virginia short track with 11 top 10s.

Byron picked up his second Martinsville victory earlier this season, spearheading a 1-2-3 Hendrick Motorsports sweep as the organization celebrated its 40th anniversary. He's registered a top-10 finish in seven of his last 10 starts at Martinsville.

Bowman rounds out the Hendrick Motorsports lineup and like his teammates, also has a grandfather clock in his trophy room after claiming a win at Martinsville in the fall of 2021. He registered one of his career-best 18 top-10 showings this season in the spring race, coming home eighth.
