CONCORD, N.C. – Call it one, final, ruby-red hurrah.
After nearly 12 months of celebrating, it’s hard to finally close the party down.
The arrival of 2025 will do that for the 40th anniversary of Hendrick Motorsports -- but not without a last look to its storied past: a special list of 40 wins in 40 days.
That’s right, 40 pivotal victories throughout the decorated history of NASCAR’s most successful organization. The unofficial list was selected by teammates from Hendrick Motorsports as well as representatives from the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Racing Insights.
After an initial nomination process yielded more than 65 candidates, the options were whittled down. Votes were compiled with unanimous choices being automatically placed on the list. A small panel within Hendrick Motorsports then made the last cuts, solidifying the final group of 40 wins.

Starting on Friday, Nov. 22, a victory and an accompanying story will be released, in no particular order, leading all the way up to New Year’s Eve. Then, with the turning of the calendar, the focus shifts to 2025.
From Geoff Bodine’s win at Martinsville Speedway in 1984 to Kyle Larson’s triumph at the Charlotte ROVAL in October 2024, all victories were considered. That included victories in exhibition races, the Xfinity Series, the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and, of course, all 312 points-paying wins in the Cup Series.
Along the way will be new interviews with drivers, crew chiefs, media members, authors and those behind the scenes, all of whom offer fresh perspective and recount the stories that made each victory vital in this company's development.
So, what victories made the list?
Strap in and ride along as we cap an unforgettable year with a nod to the past starting on Friday.
