CONCORD, N.C. – Wednesday marked the 39th annual Nationals Girls and Women in Sports Day, a day dedicated to celebrating and empowering girls and women in their pursuit of greatness and recognizing their impactful contributions to the sports industry.

Hendrick Motorsports hosted its second annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day luncheon, shining a spotlight on the remarkable women who contribute to the organization’s success.

“I just want them all to know that they have our full support,” said president and general manager Jeff Andrews. “It’s very important to us that they are provided an environment to nurture and grow and become a bigger part of this company. It’s important to me, Mr. Hendrick and Hendrick Motorsports.”

Women play an integral role at Hendrick Motorsports, often working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs seamlessly. From engineering innovations to marketing efforts and promoting teams both on and off the track, these women are a driving force behind the organization’s achievements.

What began as a company with just four women has now grown into an organization supported by 72 talented women across various departments – a number that continues to grow. Whether in competition, engineering, marketing, administration or as tour guides, these women continue to make a last impact every day.

The luncheon served as an opportunity to recognize and connect with the women who make Hendrick Motorsports thrive. In a fast-paced industry, it’s easy to overlook the faces behind the scenes, so this initiative fosters a stronger sense of community and appreciation for the talented individuals who help push the organization forward.

Their dedication, innovation and passion fuel Hendrick Motorsports’ success. On this annual celebration, we want to recognize the women who have helped shape the legacy of our 14-time NASCAR Cup Series championship-winning organization.
