AVONDALE, Ariz. - For the second time this season, Hendrick Motorsports will compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. This time, Alex Bowman will pilot the No. 17 Hendrickcars.com Chevrolet at Phoenix Raceway.
And he'll start from the pole for Saturday's main event.

Things got underway with 25 minutes of practice for each group on Saturday morning. Bowman recorded the sixth-quickest lap of the session. The Arizona native will aim to win for the first time in the Xfinity Series at Phoenix later this afternoon.
