CONCORD, N.C. -- MetroTech Automotive, an automobile supplies company aimed at providing quality cleaners and services for car dealerships, will be on board the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE of Kyle Larson this weekend for the NASCAR Cup Series’ 600-mile race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
For the one-race partnership, the blue and white MetroTech colors will hit the track for Memorial Day Weekend as the drivers honor the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice serving in the United States military by having a fallen soldier's name on their cars.
MetroTech has been serving automotive dealerships for over 30 years and provides a variety of products to ensure a well-run vehicle along with detailing services, exterior and interior repairs, and high-quality automotive photography. Click here to see the full list of services from MetroTech.
In his first season with Hendrick Motorsports, Larson already has made history with the organization. He won his first 1.5-mile race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March, adding to Hendrick Motorsports’ record-tying 268th win and Chevrolet’s 800th win that occurred at Circuit of The Americas on May 23. Larson also placed second in Hendrick Motorsports’ 1-2-3-4 finish at Dover International Speedway, marking the first time owner Rick Hendrick’s teams have swept a race.
In 14 events so far this year, Larson has one win, seven top-five finishes (three runner-up results) and nine top-10s. The 776 laps that the 28-year-old driver has led currently ranks first in the Cup Series.
The drivers will start their engines for the Charlotte 600 on Sunday, May 30 at 6 p.m. ET on FOX. Tune in live to see Larson’s No. 5 MetroTech Chevy hit the track for the first time during the historic race and check out all angles of the fresh Camaro below.
