In order to honor and celebrate the more than 260,000 Lowe's employees across the country, Johnson's car will feature a paint scheme designed around those employees' uniform.
On Wednesday, Lowe's introduced the No. 48 Lowe's Red Vest Chevrolet SS, which will hit the track on Sunday, Nov. 2.

The red vests employees wear have become symbolic of Lowe’s commitment to its customers and providing outstanding service each and every day.
"I know what the red vest means to everyone at Lowe's," Johnson said in a statement. "That's why I'm proud to have red on my car at Texas."
