CONCORD, N.C. -- William Byron and Kyle Larson both will line up together in the second row for the start of Sunday's race at Dover International Speedway.
Byron will begin the race in third place while Larson will roll off the grid in fourth. Chase Elliott will be a couple rows behind his teammates with an eighth-place start. Alex Bowman will round out the Hendrick Motorsports crew and begin the race in 16th.
The starting lineup was set based on the metrics formula from last season. It applies the data from the driver's finishing position of the last race (25%), the car owner's finishing position from the last race (25%), team owner points ranking (35%) and the fastest lap from the previous race.
Martin Truex Jr. will be on the pole.
