CONCORD, N.C. -- All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers have clinched theirs spots in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
But there's still one piece of business remaining before NASCAR's postseason.
Saturday night, the drivers will take to Richmond International Raceway for the final race of the regular season.
Before the event -- which is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and will air on ABC -- take a look at some key notes to keep in mind.
TWO NEW PAINT SCHEMES: Dale Earnhardt Jr. will have Nationwide on his side as the company makes an early debut as a primary sponsor of the No. 88 Chevrolet SS team this weekend. For the second year, Jeff Gordon will drive a specially designed No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet SS at three races in September, which is Hunger Action Month. The design features an orange paint scheme with an orange ribbon. Kasey Kahne will race his No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet SS and Jimmie Johnson will man the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet SS.
HENDRICK AT RICHMOND: In 194 starts at Richmond International Raceway, Hendrick Motorsports has 10 wins, 52 top-five finishes and 92 top-10s. Jimmie Johnson most recently went to Victory Lane there for the organization on Sept. 7, 2008.
JOHNSON AT RICHMOND: In 25 starts at Richmond, Johnson has recorded three wins, five top-five finishes and eight top-10s. He has an average start of 12.4 and an average finish of 17.9. Johnson has led 417 laps around the 0.75-mile track.
EARNHARDT'S RICHMOND WINS: Among active drivers, Earnhardt is one of four drivers tied for second with three Cup victories at Richmond. Earnhardt most recently went to Victory Lane at Richmond on May 6, 2006, after leading 47 laps. He has also recorded one pole position, nine top-five finishes and 13 top-10s. He has led a total of 501 laps there.
GORDON AT RICHMOND: Gordon, driver of the No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet SS, has two wins at the Virginia short track. The 43-year-old driver leads active competitors in the following statistical categories at Richmond: starts (43), poles (6), top-five finishes (17), top-10s (27) and laps led (1,637).
KAHNE AT RICHMOND: In 21 Cup Series starts at Richmond International Raceway, Kahne has earned one win, four top-five finishes and seven top-10s. He earned his first career Sprint Cup Series win in Richmond in May 2005 after starting from the pole position. Kahne is one of three active drivers who have won from the pole there and is one of 22 drivers all-time in 116 Richmond Cup races. Most recently, he scored a 14th-place finish at Richmond in April.
